Old Camera Phone Photography

Sony Ericsson W800i 2 MP Camera

Long before the advent of affordable DSLRs, camera phones where mostly used to take snapshots of digitized images. Especially for the ordinary bob and joe.
Camera phones are powerful enough in their own right. I used to take photos using my trusty Sony Ericsson 2 megapixel camera phone.  The images produced may not be that sharp, but hey, this is a cellular phone! And for its sole purpose of being a phone, the pictures that comes out of it are justifiable enough.

This are some shots taken using Sony Ericsson's W800i in 2007.

Nikon 35mm Prime Lens F1.8G

This prime lens probably has been reviewed countless of times in the internet, announced in 2009 by Nikon. It sure is a bang for the buck, designed for Nikon DX format cameras (cropped sensor, that is). Full frame equivalent of 52.5mm field of view, fixed focal distance of 35mm (it doesn't zoom).

This lens is sharp and fast! Autofocusing is extremely fast and accurate with a quite SWM (silent wave motor). Produces nice and soft bokeh especially when the aperture is open wide at f1.8.

You can get this lens at around $200 MSRP. What can i say? You get what you pay for, truly an amazing piece of equipment.

Dubai Creek

The Dubai Creek is a saltwater creek that divides Bur Dubai and Deira, two main sectors of Dubai. Alongside Deira side of the creek stands sprawling buildings like the Deira Twin Towers, Dubai Creek Towers etc.

The Creek is a haven for birds. It is a sight to behold watching these birds fly tirelessly across the creek.

Meanwhile, along the Bur Dubai side is where you can find the Bur Dubai Souk. Lots of arabian stuff to find there. These photos where taken January 6 2011 witha Nikon DSLR Camera.

NIGHT WALKS

Sharjah, UAE, another view from the other side

Sharjah, UAE skyline
Night time photography is among the trickiest to capture. Here are some of the amazing view of Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates taken during December of 2010. I have really enjoyed the view as much as capturing it on image.
